Yamaha Pacifica PAC112 Electric Guitar (Taiwan, Likely 2001) – Lake Placid Blue

Versatile older Pacifica with HSS pickup setup, vintage-style tremolo, and fresh D’Addario NYXL strings

This older Yamaha Pacifica PAC112 is a great example of why the early Pacifica models have such a strong reputation. It appears to be a Taiwan-made PAC112 from the older production era, likely around 2001, finished in a metallic blue that is very consistent with Lake Placid Blue. It features the classic and highly usable Pacifica formula: alder body, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, HSS pickup configuration, 5-way selector, master volume, master tone, and vintage-style tremolo. It is a dependable, comfortable, and versatile electric guitar that works well for beginners, casual players, or anyone wanting a solid Strat-style platform with the added flexibility of a bridge humbucker.

Condition:
Good to very good overall condition with no functional issues. Electronics work properly and the guitar has just been restrung with a brand new set of D’Addario NYXL 09–42 strings. The neck and frets are in excellent condition. Cosmetic wear is limited mainly to a few scratches on the back of the body, including one larger scratch around 1 inch long that is not deep, plus a burnt mark on the left corner of the back side of the body, visible in the last listing photo. Tremolo bar is missing. No case or accessories included.

Why Buy This Pacifica?
The Pacifica 112 series has long been known as one of the best value electric guitar platforms around. You get a comfortable body shape, familiar Fender-style scale length, and a very useful HSS pickup layout that can cover clean tones, blues, rock, pop, and heavier sounds better than a typical three-single-coil setup. This older Taiwan-made example is especially appealing for buyers who like the earlier Pacifica models and want a ready-to-play guitar with excellent neck and fret condition, fresh strings, and only cosmetic wear.
