The Red Witch Violetta Delay is a compact boutique delay pedal from Red Witch’s Original Chrome Series, designed around warm, vintage-style echoes rather than bright, clinical repeats. It offers up to 1000ms of delay, adjustable modulation, single repeats through runaway self-oscillation, and an expression connection for real-time control of the repeats. Its modulation can range from subtle movement to pronounced tape-echo-style wow and flutter, while the internal rechargeable battery allows operation without a permanently connected power supply. The Violetta is now discontinued, making clean working examples increasingly uncommon.
Condition:
Excellent physical condition overall. The pedal has been tested and the delay effect, controls, footswitch, input/output jacks and other functions are working properly. However, the internal rechargeable battery no longer holds a proper charge and needs replacement.
The replacement battery specification is 3.7V 820mAh.
The reflective chrome housing remains very clean overall, showing only light fine surface marks and scratches from normal handling, most noticeable under direct light or close inspection. No major dents, cracks, heavy wear, or other significant physical damage.
