The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR is an all-purpose zoom lens designed for Nikon DX-format DSLR cameras. Its broad 18-140mm focal range covers everything from landscapes, travel and group photos to portraits and short-telephoto subjects, making it an excellent single-lens solution for everyday photography.
Nikon equips the lens with VR image stabilization, AF-S Silent Wave Motor autofocus, ED glass and an aspherical element. Nikon rates the VR system at up to four stops of stabilization and specifies a minimum focusing distance of approximately 0.45m.
