Mesa/Boogie CabClone 8-Ohm 150W Cabinet Simulator & Load Box
Passive guitar amplifier load box with cabinet simulation, direct outputs and headphone monitoring
The Mesa/Boogie CabClone is a compact passive interface designed to connect directly to a guitar amplifier’s speaker output, allowing the amp to be recorded, sent to a mixer or PA, monitored through headphones, or operated without a physical speaker cabinet when using its built-in load.
This is the 8-ohm version, rated for amplifiers up to 150 watts, with selectable Closed Back, Open Back and Vintage Cabinet voicings. It also provides balanced XLR direct output, line output, headphone monitoring, phase reversal and ground lift. No external power supply is required.
Condition:
Excellent physical and working condition overall with only very minor signs of normal previous use. The metal enclosure, front panel, switches, control knob, connectors and folding stand are all in excellent overall condition with no significant damage.
The unit has been fully tested and is working properly with no functional issues noted.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is the CabClone used for?
A: It allows a guitar amplifier head to feed a recording interface, mixing console, PA system or headphones while providing a simulated speaker-cabinet sound.
Q: Can it be used without a speaker cabinet?
A: Yes. This 8-ohm version contains an internal load, so a compatible amplifier can be operated without a physical cabinet connected.
Q: Can I still use a real speaker cabinet with it?
A: Yes. The rear THRU connection allows the amplifier signal to continue to a live speaker cabinet while also using the CabClone's direct outputs.
Q: Does it require software or a computer?
A: No. This is the original analog/passive CabClone and does not require software, drivers, USB or a computer.
Q: Does it need a power adapter?
A: No. The original CabClone is passive and requires no external power supply. The amplifier must be connected using the correct 8-ohm impedance and an appropriate speaker cable.
