Classic Memphis-built semi-hollow Gibson with dual ’57 Classic humbuckers and original hardshell case
This 2006 Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue delivers the combination of hollow-body resonance, solid centre-block sustain and versatility that has made the ES-335 one of Gibson's most enduring electric guitar designs. This Memphis-built example features the traditional Cherry gloss finish, plain maple body, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, dual Gibson ’57 Classic humbuckers and the familiar four-control/three-way switching layout. Its warm cleans, articulate midrange and ability to handle anything from jazz and blues through classic rock make it a particularly versatile Gibson.
 
Condition:
Near excellent overall physical and working condition for a guitar approximately 20 years old.
The guitar has been carefully inspected and shows no major damage or structural issues. The body and neck show scattered minor scratches, small dings and finish marks consistent with normal previous use. A few small finish chips and marks are visible around the body edges and other areas, and are shown in close-up in the photos. The black pickguard also shows normal surface scratching.
The nickel hardware, particularly the ABR-1 bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and Grover tuners, shows age-related tarnishing/oxidation, but there is no significant rust, rot, or damage, and all hardware remains functional.
The frets are in excellent overall condition with plenty of usable life remaining, and both pickup assemblies are also in excellent physical condition.
The guitar has been tested. Both pickups, the pickup selector, volume and tone controls, and output jack function properly with no electronic issues noted. The bridge and tuners function normally.
The original Gibson hardshell case is included. The case shows considerably more cosmetic wear than the guitar, including scuffs, edge wear and separation/wear of the exterior material around portions of the lower perimeter. It remains usable for storage and transportation.
