The Empress Midibox 2 is the made in Canada control port router from Empress Effects, built to bring an entire Empress pedal rig under one MIDI source. It converts a standard 5 pin MIDI signal into the control port patch format that Empress pedals use, so one controller or sequencer can address the whole board. Four control port outputs drive up to four Empress pedals at once, an internal dip switch sets the MIDI out behavior and relays messages to the MIDI thru and out connector, and onboard LEDs show exactly where MIDI is being sent.
 
Condition
Excellent and fully tested. It powers on over 9V DC, works as designed, and all jacks and MIDI ports function. There is one light surface scratch on the top graphic near the logo, shown in the photos, cosmetic only. This is the standard factory Empress unit, not the Chase Bliss Audio modified version, with the control ports in their original Empress configuration.
