Canon A-1 35mm SLR Film Camera with Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 Lens

Classic Canon manual-focus film SLR with fast 50mm prime lens
Vintage Canon A-1 35mm film camera paired with a Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 standard prime lens. The A-1 is a well-known electronically controlled SLR offering manual exposure along with multiple automatic exposure modes.
A new 6V battery has been installed. The shutter releases normally and the film advance lever operates as expected. However, the camera has not been tested with film, so actual photographic performance, metering accuracy and film transport have not been fully verified. It is therefore being sold as-is.

Condition:
Great overall physical condition with no major visible damage or significant cosmetic imperfections.
The camera has been partially checked with a fresh battery. The shutter fires and the film advance lever operates normally, but it has not been film-tested.
The Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 lens is in good overall condition. The glass appears clean with no visible fungus, haze or significant internal dust observed. Focus and aperture controls appear physically intact.

Q: Why is it being sold as-is?
A: Because actual photographic results, metering accuracy and complete film transport operation have not been verified with film.
