Condition and what is included
TASCAM Porta 03 Ministudio 4-Track Analog Cassette Recorder -AS IS.
Vintage 4-track cassette recording workstation with built-in mixer, Dolby noise reduction, and hands-on analog controls.
The TASCAM Porta 03 Ministudio is a compact analog multitrack recorder combining a 4-track cassette deck and 4-channel mixer in one portable unit. Designed for home recording, songwriting, demos, overdubbing, and lo-fi production, it allows individual tracks to be recorded to cassette and mixed down through its built-in level and pan controls.
The Porta 03 provides two mic/line inputs, independent track level and pan controls, input trim and faders, Dolby noise reduction, transport controls, a mechanical tape counter, stereo RCA outputs, and headphone monitoring. It records on standard high-bias Type II compact cassettes at 1⅞ ips.
Condition
Very good physical condition overall for its age with normal signs of previous use.
From the photos, the exterior housing, cassette door, transport buttons, faders, knobs, switches, input jacks, RCA outputs, headphone jack, tape counter, and cassette compartment are all physically present.
The cassette compartment and visible tape mechanism appear physically complete; however, no functional testing has been performed.
The original power adapter is missing, so we were unable to power on or test the recorder. The unit is therefore being sold untested and strictly as-is. No claims are made regarding the cassette transport, recording, playback, inputs, outputs, meters, faders, switches, or any other electronic/mechanical function.
Includes
